More about me

I am a French abstract artist currently based in Munich, Germany. Having left France at the age of seven, I spent my pre-teen years in Sierra Leone until the war broke out. After years back in France, I then lived in Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, La Réunion, Hungary, and now Germany. These experiences—marked by displacement, cultural richness, and constant reinvention—deeply inform my artistic voice and my longing to create a sense of home through my work.

My abstract paintings are intuitive, textured, and emotionally charged. I work mainly with mixed media, layering pastes, fabrics, pigments and paints to build organic compositions. My colour universe is dominated by deep blues and highlighted with gold—an homage to water as a place of memory, emotion, and healing.

I also draw inspiration from the Blue Mind theory, which explores the calming and restorative power of water on the human psyche. My creative process is meditative and immersive—a sanctuary where time dissolves and emotions take shape.

My practice became essential after a personal rupture combining motherhood, burnout, the pandemic, and late-diagnosed ADHD. Painting emerged as both a lifeline and a form of self-reclamation—a way to embrace sensitivity, complexity, and creative freedom.

My work has been featured in exhibitions and fairs across Europe and internationally, including in New York, Dubai, Madrid, Munich and Palma. I was a prize winner in the 2025 Tartget Prize and have exhibited at major art fairs like ArtMUC.

My art speaks to collectors, ocean lovers, and those in search of beauty and emotional depth. Each piece invites the viewer to slow down, breathe, and reconnect—with themselves and with the vastness within.

More about my work

My art is a homecoming — a way to anchor myself in the present while honouring the richness of a life lived across cultures and landscapes. As a lifelong expat, painting offers me a space to belong, to breathe, to feel.

I create abstract, intuitive works guided by emotion and sensation. Blue is my constant — evoking depth, calm, and the magnetic pull of the sea. Gold brings contrast and light, highlighting texture, memory, and movement. At times, it echoes Kintsugi — the Japanese art of embracing cracks with gold, turning what’s broken into something luminous.

I work with mixed media to build tactile, layered pieces that speak beyond words. In the studio, time dissolves. Art becomes a healing space — a sanctuary for silence, connection, and transformation.

My work invites you to pause, feel, and reconnect — to your own emotional landscapes, to the intelligence of your intuition, and to the quiet power of beauty. I believe in the soothing energy of “blue mind” — that peaceful, contemplative state inspired by water — and I aim to make that energy visible through each piece.
